Garmin Approach S70 Launched With AMOLED Screen And Battery Up To 16 Days

Garmin is here with another new premium wearable device through the Approach S70 series. In general, any watch launched under this series focuses on the sport of golf. It aims to help create a better overall gaming experience through the features and functions it offers.

For example, the use of AMOLED screens in the new generation allows the display to be read easily in various conditions. According to Garmin, the AMOLED screen used is also better than before. Built-in GPS support has also been upgraded with the ability to track up to 43,000 golf courses worldwide.

The virtual assistant support is also improved with the ability to collect better activity data, further providing recommendations based on various factors, including altitude, wind speed, wind direction and so on. There is also a PlaysLike Distance feature that supports an all-new built-in barometer to gather more accurate shot readings.

Just like other smart watches, it also contains built-in sensors for the purpose of real-time fitness and health monitoring. This includes heart rate monitoring throughout the day, heart rate change status, battery level in the body, sleep time patterns and more.

The included battery can last up to 16 days in smartwatch mode and up to 20 hours when using GPS. This watch is available in two different sizes either 1.2-inch or 1.4-inch which uses quality materials including ceramic bezel and scratch resistant glass.

Garmin Approach S70 is offered at a starting price of $649.99 (~RM3,001). However, no further information about availability in Malaysia is known for now.
