Threads is a Twitter competitor from Meta and it seems to be gaining a lot of attention reaching over 50 million users in a single day. Within 24 hours there have been over 95 million shares done in Threads.
Many people must be wondering if this application is good enough compared to Twitter? Threads have no ads, no bots, can share up to 500 characters instead of 280 and more. What about ads? Currently according to Mark Zuckeberg there are no ads on Threads. But they will consider displaying ads after having a pattern to reach around 1 billion users.
Today, Meta has several platforms with over 1 billion users, including Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and even WhatsApp.
In addition, various things that Mark Zuckerberg and Adam Mosseri plan for Threads. Including a timeline for only followed accounts will be integrated soon.
