Adobe Also Limits Use of Generative AI By Employees

Adobe is following in the footsteps of Samsung and Apple in limiting the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) by staff. The company reminds employees not to use personal email and corporate credit cards when subscribing to competing AIs like ChatGPT. In terms of barriers, Adobe is still more open than Samsung which directly bans the use of third-party AI.

Like other technology companies, Adobe also develops their own intelligence such as Firefly. Therefore they encourage staff to use company-produced AI. Directives preventing the use of artificial intelligence began to be issued by various companies when it caused company secrets to leak onto the web arena.

With so much AI being developed at the moment, in the future it is possible that every company will develop its own AI to ensure company secrets are protected. This is what Naver is offering, which is partnering with Samsung for its own AI and will also offer it to countries worried about their data being shared with the United States.
