The WhatsApp Call feature has been introduced since 2015. It has been eight years since this feature was introduced and only recently will your voice calls be more secure. So far every time you make a voice call, unscrupulous individuals can track your location by tracking the IP address.

WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp is currently testing a feature to hide IP addresses when making voice calls. If this feature is activated, your voice calls will be sent through the WhatsApp server relay and cause lower voice call quality.

This feature is another serious and firm effort by WhatsApp in guaranteeing data security and user privacy. For now it is still uncertain when this feature will be rolled out to everyone. Are you looking forward to it or not surprised if someone is tracking your location?
