MacBook With M3 Chip May Not Launch This Year

Apple will update their MacBook offerings at the end of the year. But according to the latest report of the latest analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple no longer has plans to launch a new MacBook with the Apple M3 chip this year.

This news will surely disappoint those who are planning to buy MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13″ with M3 Chip. No reason was given by Kuo as to why the new MacBook was not launched but there is speculation that it is because TSMC is unable to meet the production requirements of the 3nm chips required. The same technology is also used for the Apple A17 Bionic chip in the iPhone 15 Pro series this year.

However, Kuo's statement did not say whether the new iMac with the M3 was also cancelled. Perhaps due to lack of capacity, only the iMac M3 will be launched next October.
