The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has now announced that it has provided around 10 electric vehicle (EV) chargers for free under their administrative area. Among the locations where there are EV chargers are the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, Wisma MBSA and also at the MBSA branch office.
This electric vehicle charger is provided as a result of cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water.
In addition to these 10 locations, MBSA is also identifying other locations to continue adding electric vehicle chargers.
Under the Selangor government plan, it is targeted to have around 1000 electric vehicle chargers available in 12 local governments by the end of 2023, including Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Klang, Kajang and Ampang Jaya. Currently, there are 102 electric vehicle chargers in Selangor.
