How many devices with a Snapdragon chip are there in the world today? If you've ever wondered about this question the answer is over 3 billion devices according to Don McGuire, Qualcomm's CMO at the Snapdragon Summit event today.
These devices include smartphones, tablets, smart watches, audio accessories, laptops and even automotive. According to McGuire, consumers are now willing to pay up to 16% more just to get a device with a Snapdragon chip.
It can be seen this year that Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has the best performance and durability on Android devices. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 also set to launch today, Qualcomm's gap with the competition is likely to widen.
