ASUS Announces Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD – Graphics Card With Built-in PCIe SSD Storage Slot

During this year's COMPUTEX Taipei event, ASUS showed off a graphics card offering that comes with M.2 SSD storage slots, and recently, the feature has been introduced as a product that can be sold to consumers and those who want to build a new computer.

This graphics card is an ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD which is an ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card that comes with an M.2 SSD slot on the back of this graphics card. This allows users to increase the amount of storage that can be installed on their computer using PCIe x16 lanes that are used exclusively for graphics cards only.

ASUS further says that this SSD storage slot supports PCIe 5.0 SSD components, but it also supports PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 SSDs without issue.

Even so, ASUS says that to use the SSD slot on this graphics card, the motherboard used must be able to separate the x16 lane into x8x8 or x8x4x4 lanes, because the storage slot requires at least a PCIe x4 lane to work.

According to ASUS, another advantage of installing an SSD on their graphics card is that their Dual-Axial cooling system is able to cool this SSD and allow it to operate at an optimal temperature.

In the meantime, ASUS has also shown a list of their motherboards that support this ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD graphics card. This list shows motherboards for both AMD and Intel platforms.

As of now, ASUS has yet to reveal the price tag for this graphics card, nor the sale date, but as a product it is already shown on their website.
