Nothing Phone 2a Will Use Samsung's 50MP Sensor

 


More details of Nothing's first mid-range device have leaked. The device is said to be called the Nothing Phone (2a), powered by the Dimensity 7200 chip, still has the LED Glyph system but a new design and runs Androidd 14. Recently, SmartPrix has shared more details about the device's camera and screen.



The Phone (2a) will continue to use a 50MP dual-camera configuration, this time a sensor from Samsung. The wide/main angle is the 50MP Samsung S5KGN9, the ultra wide angle is the same as the Phone (2) which is the 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 and the selfie camera is the 32MP Sony IMX615 which is also used on the Phone (2). Again the device's screen is said to be 6.7-inches. The supplier of this FHD+ 120Hz panel is said to be Visionox.



Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to be launched during MWC Barcelona 2024. This device will also run Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14 and is expected to be sold at a price of around RM2000. For now it is still uncertain if this device will be offered in Malaysia or limited to the American market only. Let's wait together.
