For the first time, OnePlus will launch their R series in markets outside of India and China. The first device to be introduced is the OnePlus 12R which is expected to launch alongside their new flagship device the OnePlus 12.
OnePlus 12 is confirmed to enter the Malaysian market around the end of January. Apparently, OnePlus fans in Malaysia who have been buying the R series import set will be able to officially buy the OnePlus 12R because the device has also been listed on SIRIM.
Currently, there are no further details for this device. But, the OnePlus 12R is said to be a rebranded OnePlus 11 with minor tweaks to make it affordable – maybe no Hasselblad? Both the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R are said to run OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. Let's all look forward to it.
