The Cabinet has now agreed in principle with the Ministry of Transport to change the vehicle driving license that is currently in use, in digital form. However, the full implementation date for it has not been shared yet.
Today, users can now link their driving license to the MyJPJ application. However, it is still on a voluntary basis, and physical vehicle driving licenses are still issued when the renewal is done.
With the new changes coming, it is not yet known how they will be implemented. This change is seen in parallel with the digitization of various things to facilitate users and management, including reducing costs.
