DJI already dominates the video recording drone market for both the public and professional use. Today they entered the arena of goods delivery drones after launching the DJI FlyCart 30. This drone with eight propellers has a design similar to the DJI Matrice but has a capacity to carry cargo of up to 30 kilograms.
Each FlayCart 30 also has the ability to fly up to 16 kilometers at a maximum speed of 72 kmh. Through emergency mode, it can carry cargo up to 40 kilograms but the distance is reduced to only 8 km. It also passes the IP55 standard and can fly up to an altitude of 6000 meters.
There are two modes of operation it can be used. Cargo mode places cargo in a storage compartment with a capacity of 70L at the bottom of the drone. The winch mode comes with a 20 meter long rope that allows the cargo to be raised and lowered without the drone landing first.
Like all DJI drones, the FlyCart 30 is equipped with various sensors to prevent violations, an ADS-B system to warn surrounding aircraft and is also equipped with an emergency parachute in case the system fails during operation. The price has not been announced yet but it will be marketed in China first.
