Huawei is still active in Malaysia by regularly offering various new gadgets. From tablets, in-ear TWS, premium smartwatches, and more. Most recently, the HUAWEI nova Y72 has been launched for the Malaysian market. Interestingly, this phone comes with an additional physical button like the iPhone 15 Pro which is the X button.
nova Y72 comes with a 6.75-inch LCD HD+ screen, possibly powered by the Kirin 710A (Huawei has not officially revealed it) paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the back of the device there is a 50+2 Megapixel dual-camera configuration, an 8 Megapixel selfie camera, a 6000mAh battery and HUAWEI SuperCharge 22.5W charging.
This device still uses Bluetooth 5.1, limited with 4G, but there is one feature that makes this device unique, which is the X button. It is a button to quickly access the menu of favorite applications. It also supports single tap or tap and hold. Among the applications promoted by Huawei are Grab or Touch 'n Go eWallet. This is the iPhone 15 Pro's iteration of the Action Button on a base-class phone.
The HUAWEI nova Y72 is an attractive entry-level device with its own unique features. It runs the EMUI 12 operating system. For now there is still no sale date, but Huawei Malaysia confirmed that it will be sold at a price of RM899 with a choice of black or green.
