LinkedIn is a social media platform for professionals. It is a place where people look for work or companies recruit employees. Even so, LinkedIn is not left behind in the latest technology trends as they have recently included a messaging feature with generative AI.
This feature can be used on their app either Android or iOS, exclusively for their Premium plan customers only. LinkedIn's AI system will read both parties' profiles and can directly answer related questions. Either want to introduce yourself or ask questions about the company or work experience.
LinkedIn also states that each message will be saved in a draft before being sent for users to check the validity of the data. As we know, generative AI can sometimes provide inaccurate information. LinkedIn wants this AI messaging feature to connect more people. In 2023, they recorded 5 billion people successfully connected.
