Neways, one of the companies that develops a number of electrical equipment and is involved in the semiconductor arena, has now announced that it will open a production plant in Malaysia. The factory is expected to open in Klang, Selangor.
This production plant is expected to be operational in the 4th quarter of 2024, with the target of having 200 employees at the initial stage. This opening in Malaysia will provide additional production capacity, apart from the factory in China by Neways.
For information, Neways is one of the main suppliers for the developer of computer chip equipment, ASML. The investment amount is not disclosed at this time.
