Spotify, a platform focused on sharing audio content, has now announced that they have reached 615 million monthly active users. Of that figure, 239 million are paid subscribers.
Spotify stated that this increase in user numbers is in line with their target to focus on revenue generation in 2024.
In addition to focusing on songs, Spotify has also started adding podcasts and audiobooks to their platform. At the same time, Spotify has also started adding music videos and podcasts in video form to their platform. Perhaps we'll see more new features on their platform in the near future – one of which is high-quality audio offerings.
