This Is The Oppo A60 Design For The Malaysian Market

It seems that many people already know about the new device Oppo A60 that will be on the Malaysian market soon. It is also ready to be shown through promotional images and videos with a modern touch given in line with the needs of today's users. While waiting for the official launch, here we first share the offerings on the device more closely. However, as mentioned, the main focus of the article is of course about design alone. Then more details related to internal hardware and sales price will only be revealed after the official launch later.

What's in the Box?

Continue the unboxing session article to see what Oppo has in store for this device. Looking at the packaging clearly shows a minimalist concept that combines white and gray colors are used. If you notice the concept is the same as the previous generation. Then there is the branding of the device with black writing adorning the front of the packaging box. Followed by a number of brief specification details and color variations as usual on the back.

The first thing that can be seen after opening the box is of course the white box containing the protective frame, user manual and SIM extractor. Then followed by smart phones and some other accessories such as charging heads and USB-A to USB-C cables.

Physical Design

Looks similar but not the same. The difference is on the back panel of the device which no longer uses a dual-tone design like the Oppo A78 before. Also the main attraction is the variety of color options available. It features contrasting elements along with abstract decorations to create a modern appeal. Especially for the blue color or Ripple Blue which has a subtle sheen for a more striking effect.

It is inspired by the beauty of the waves in the blue ocean with a unique touch like a sparkling diamond. Special materials are also used in the manufacturing process to create a three-dimensional effect such as the waves that always undulate calmly on the surface of the sea. There is another color option called Midnight Purple but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to see it with our own eyes. The official promotional images show it also has an attractive subtle sheen on the back.

Next, as many as two camera bumps with a dual-camera system are used on the device. One large lens dominates the camera bump at the top with another lens placed separately in the bump below. It can also be seen that the second bump has an LED Flash included. In addition to the Oppo branding that decorates the lower part of the back panel of the device.

The front screen is completely flat with a small hole placed in the middle. Not much can be said about the still thin bezel construction on the top and sides. Meanwhile, the existence of a relatively thick chin at the bottom is not surprising. In fact, this device seems to be the norm for this segment of devices. But what is important is that the experience of holding the device so far provides good comfort without any problems.

The power button and audio controls can be found on the right side. All are also well built to ensure comfort when fingers press. At the same time, fingerprint scanner support is also built into the power button. Then the SIM tray is placed on the opposite side.

Meanwhile the USB-C port is at the bottom along with the speaker, microphone hole and 3.5mm audio jack. It is true that this new smartphone has a 3.5mm audio jack which should be an interesting added value. This is because not many manufacturers include the function in their latest devices.

That's all sharing about the design offerings on this new Oppo device. Yes, as mentioned earlier, all further details including the internal hardware and the official selling price will be revealed after the official launch later. A full review will also be published later in the future.
