Axiata has now confirmed that they will officially launch their digital bank, Boost Bank next week, June 6, 2024. This will position Boost Bank as the third digital bank in the country, after GX Bank and AEON Bank.
For information, Boost has been promoting Boost Bank through the Boost digital wallet app for the past few weeks, in an effort to attract more people to sign up for their digital bank service. Boost's digital wallet service currently has around 11 million users.
Boost Bank is a joint digital banking service of RHB and Boost, where Boost has a 60% stake, while RHB has a 40% stake in this digital banking company.
For now, the offer that will be provided through Boost Bank's digital banking is still unknown. We look forward to sharing more about it in the near future.
