Google Gems was also introduced at Google I/O 2024 last night. It is a feature for users to customize Gemini so that it becomes a specific assistant for certain tasks. For example just to cook, to exercise and many more. One of the features that Gems can take advantage of is Gemini Live.
Gemini Live is a feature like Google Lens and Ask With Video. It uses the camera to provide information to the user, only with Live it sees with the camera directly and the information is given in real time. This feature is seen to destroy the concept of physical AI devices such as Humane AI Pin and Rabbit R1 because this feature will soon be in the hands of all smartphone users.
