Google Chrome's Address Bar Will Get Smarter – It Learns Usage Patterns

According to Justin Donnelly, a software engineer for Chrome – the address bar on the Chrome web browser is used billions of times every day. Chrome address bar also known as omnibox will be smarter with Chrome version (M124) because machine learning has been integrated.

Donnelly and the Chrome team realized that omnibox should be smarter by suggesting web addresses or other search keywords that are more customized to each user. This means, Chrome can also suggest the right websites, correct the wrong spelling of web addresses by users and more.

The goal of the Chrome team from version M124 and above is to make this web browser more intelligent and customized to each user. A smart web browser that learns the usage patterns of user activity will contribute to the improvement of the web browser and drive to a higher number of users.
