Poco Pad Also Introduced But Will Not Be Sold In Malaysia

At the Dubai Exhibition Center today, the Poco Pad was also launched alongside the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. This first Poco Android tablet is actually the Redmi Pad Pro which was launched in China and selected global markets recently.

Poco Pad uses a 12.1-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2.5K (2560 x 1600 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This tablet uses a 16:10 display ratio which is easier to read because watching videos will leave a black bar effect but the colors will still be beautiful because of the Dolby Vision display support. Speaking of watching videos, this tablet comes with four Dolby Atmos speakers for an immersive audio experience.

For the chip, Poco uses a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. For the camera, an 8MP sensor is used for the main and selfie camera that supports 1080p video recording. The device runs Xiaomi HyperOS complete with Interconnectivity features for use with other Poco or Xiaomi devices.

WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are included, the battery is 10,000mAh but charging is limited to 33W which will take almost two hours to fully charge. There is no Malaysian price for the Poco Pad as it has been confirmed that it will not be sold in Malaysia. This is because the Redmi Pad Pro has been listed in SIRIM and it may be launched in Malaysia soon.

In Europe, the Redmi Pad Pro is sold at a price of €299 which is around RM1518. Together we look forward to the presence in Malaysia to find out the expected selling price is cheaper.
