Project Starline 3D Teleconferencing System Will Be Offered By Google And HP

In 2021, Google showed Project Starline which allows teleconference sessions to be conducted in three dimensions. It was produced during a pandemic when physical meetings were prevented due to social distancing. After three years of showing off, Google announced a partnership with HP to commercialize Project Starline to the public.

HP has a line of teleconferencing products under the Poly branding. The design of the teleconferencing system that will be offered by HP has not yet been shared by Google. With Google I/O taking place early tomorrow morning, it will undoubtedly be officially revealed at the event.

Also announced when sold later, Starline will not only support Google Meet but also their competitor Zoom.
