Bluesky's social media service has shown positive growth since X was banned in Brazil a few days ago, and has now set a record of its own with over 10 million registered users on their platform.
Bluesky was developed as an alternative to Twitter, developed with a decentralized technology focus and uses the AT protocol on it. It was initially offered by invitation, and has opened access to all users since February 2024.
Brazil's user growth has seen a drastic rise since the ban on X in Brazil.
