For the past few weeks, we have been hearing about OpenAI which is in the process of getting new investment funds from several parties, including Microsoft and Apple. Now, a further report has surfaced via Bloomberg, stating that OpenAI is in the process of raising funds at a company value of $150 billion.
This at the same time makes OpenAI one of the most valuable companies, apart from ByteDance (owner of TikTok) and also SpaceX. OpenAI has received a lot of attention since the introduction of ChatGPT, where the integration of their products is also done into MacOS and Windows.
OpenAI is said to be in the process of raising $6.5 billion in funding from investors, in addition to being in talks to get $5 billion in loans from banks.
For now, OpenAI has not issued any official comments regarding this matter. Last time OpenAI shared, they had over 200 million weekly active users on ChatGPT – and were also in the process of developing SearchGPT, an artificial intelligence-powered search engine.
