Anker is ready to offer a number of variations of their products for charging and energy storage purposes. Most recently, Anker also introduced an umbrella that comes integrated with a solar panel, called the Solix Solar Beach Umbrella. This solar umbrella is targeted for use during picnics, allowing users to set it up and use the energy generated to charge devices.
Anker says this solar umbrella can produce up to 100W of energy, and uses an output based on a USB-C connection. Anker says they use a new variation of solar cells, “Perovskite” which allows it to produce better energy than other solar cells on the market.
This umbrella can be installed at a height of up to 215 centimeters, and has a diameter of 190 centimeters. Like other umbrellas, it is also waterproof, and can protect users when it rains. For now, the selling price of this solar umbrella has not been announced by Anker yet.
