NVIDIA's Project G-Assist will finally be available to users starting in February. Project G-Assist is an AI assistant for computer users with GeForce RTX GPUs that can control performance and GPU settings.
Project G-Assist uses SLM, Small Language Model, and runs directly on the computer through the NVIDIA application. G-Assist can then perform real-time diagnostics and provide recommendations to improve device performance.
Users can also ask any questions about computer performance problems and G-Assist can help solve them. G-Assist can also help users control the computer such as changing fan speeds, controlling the RGB lighting system or various hardware and accessories from various brands.
According to NVIDIA, G-Assist is a completely free service because it uses energy and power from within the GPU directly. Features such as PUBG Ally with NVIDIA ACE will also use G-Assist.
