This morning, NVIDIA has finally officially announced the arrival of their NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 series graphics cards. These graphics cards consist of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070.
Recently, NVIDIA's official website has updated the price tags for the Malaysian market, and it seems that the price tags for the graphics cards seem to deviate slightly compared to what is offered for the United States market.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 comes with a price tag of RM10,390, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 comes with a price tag of RM5190, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at RM3890 and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 will be sold at RM2850.
This is not something new or surprising. First, it should be noted that the price tags displayed are only approximate price tags. This is because the Founders Edition series graphics cards are only sold in a select few markets, and Malaysia currently doesn’t seem to be one of those markets.
You’ll have to wait for brands like ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, ZOTAC and so on to introduce their graphics cards for the local market, and the prices listed above are usually not very applicable.
You can use the price list to see how much of a price increase is made compared to this “base” price offering.
Graphics card brands will be introducing their own NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 graphics card offerings soon.
