Samsung is now reported to be improving the battery offerings on its upcoming flagship phone next year, with new technology, allowing it to reach a capacity of up to 7000mAh.
According to reports from South Korea, Samsung is said to be using Silicon-Carbon solution technology, allowing for a higher battery capacity through it compared to the use of graphite-based technology.
Samsung is said to be ready to invest heavily in the development of this battery, and at the same time also taking various precautionary measures. Previously, Samsung was among the fastest in introducing new battery technology, until the Galaxy Note 7 incident occurred, causing the model to be completely canceled due to battery problems.
In addition to Samsung, several Chinese manufacturers have begun using this new battery technology in their devices.
