OpenAI is now offering a $20 subscription option for ChatGPT Plus, and $200 for ChatGPT Pro. What sets it apart is access to smarter reasoning models, as well as the ability to generate videos via Sora. Not only that, it is now reported that OpenAI wants to come up with several other subscription options.
OpenAI is expected to market it as an intelligent “agent” suitable for a number of different tasks. Under the initial plan, access to an artificial intelligence model that is equivalent to a high-level employee is expected to be offered at a subscription price of $2000 a month. While an agent equivalent to a programmer may be offered at a price of $10000 a month.
In addition to both, OpenAI is also expected to offer AI agents that can support PhD-level research for $20,000 a month. It is likely that these new “agents” will be targeted for government and enterprise use.
At this time, it is unknown when OpenAI will introduce this offering. It is not impossible that we will see more variations of “agents” offered for subscription by OpenAI through ChatGPT.
