CIMB has now announced that it will be completely decommissioning the CIMB Clicks app on 12 April 2025. After that date, users will need to use CIMB OCTO for banking purposes only. In line with this move, CIMB will also be discontinuing SecureTAC support on the CIMB Clicks app effective 16 March 2025, and will be fully migrated to CIMB OCTO.
CIMB has previously begun the transition process to CIMB OCTO in stages since last year, and is gradually phasing out features on CIMB Clicks. In fact, the CIMB Clicks app is no longer offered for new installations.
For those of you who are still using the CIMB Clicks app, it may be time to use CIMB OCTO to ensure your banking transactions run smoothly. The CIMB OCTO app can be downloaded via the Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
