Recently, various parties are ready to invest in the artificial intelligence arena, and make it easier for users to perform various tasks. Honor is one of the companies that is ready to invest in this arena, and at the MWC 2025 event today, they showed the development of their AI agent that is integrated directly into mobile devices.
Honor stated that 2025 will be the year of the AI agent – which is one of the terms used for the ability to automate a number of processes including making final decisions based on information and input.
Honor demonstrated the capabilities of their AI agent where it can receive instructions, and then understand various information and what a user wants to do. Next, the AI agent will carry out the instructions.
Through the demo shown, Honor showed the ability of their AI agent to understand instructions, and then find a place to eat based on the food they want, and make reservations based on the time that is suitable for the user.
This model also takes into account various things, including how the user uses the device, the surrounding conditions – including traffic on the road, and others.
Honor says they have achieved this fully functional AI agent integration through collaboration with Qualcomm and Google. This allows the AI agent to work across applications, either using APIs or by understanding an application's interface.
Honor has not yet given a date for when we will see the AI agent roll out globally. Since Honor AI previously supported Bahasa Malaysia, we can't wait to try it out when it becomes available.
