One of the physical designs synonymous with OnePlus devices is the inclusion of the “Alert Slider”, or one of the adjustable buttons on the side that makes it easy for users to change the sound profile on the device – perfect for quickly activating if you are in a mosque, meeting, and so on.
However, after several years since its inclusion, OnePlus is now looking at alternatives, and says it will replace the use of the “Alert Slider” with a dedicated physical button that can be pressed.
This physical button can be customized with any function the user wants, including for the audio profile on the device. OnePlus has not shared more about this button yet, and only said that it will offer more personalized features through this physical button.
