Samsung Stops Android 15-Based One UI 7 Update Due to Serious Bugs

Samsung has stopped the process of updating devices to One UI 7 based on Android 15 worldwide due to serious bugs reported by users. This year, the update to the new Android version has been delayed since December even though Android 15 was launched by Google seven months ago.

According to a Sammobile report, this serious bug involves the Secure Folder system that encrypts the content on the device. Meanwhile, users in South Korea reported that their Galaxy S24 could not be unlocked after undergoing the update process. As a result, the One UI 7 update has now been postponed to a date that has not yet been announced.

In Malaysia, the update has not yet been given to the Galaxy S24, Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 series a few weeks ago. This is a good move because if the update is received, the same issue may also be reported by local users.
