Huawei has launched the Nova 14 and Nova 14 Pro in China with new designs and attractive specifications. Both Huawei Nova 14s also focus on advanced camera performance and a smoother user experience.
The Huawei Nova 14 Pro comes with a 7.68mm thin body that has a crystal texture for an elegant touch. The LTPO OLED Quad Micro Curved display is 6.78” FHD+, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1200nits.
The device uses a 50MP RYYB Variable Aperture Stabilization Lens (F1.4-F4.0) camera system with OIS, 12MP RYYB telephoto portrait (F2.4) and 8MP Ultra wide/macro (F2.2). The front camera is 50MP + 8MP with portrait zoom capabilities.
There is also an AI Davichi Portrait Engine that enables high-quality portraits with AI Magic Image Shift technology, as well as smart Retouching. Although the chip specifications are not disclosed, it comes with a memory option of 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The Nova 14 Pro is also equipped with a 5500 mAh battery with 100W HUAWEI Wired SuperCharge charging.
Meanwhile, the Huawei Nova 14 uses a 6.7-inch OLED FHS+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also thin with a thickness of 7.18mm and weighs only 192 grams. In addition, it has a 50MP RYYB Variable Aperture Stabilization Lens (F1.4-F4.0) camera system with OIS, 12-MP RYYB telephoto portrait (F2.4) and 8MP Ultra wide/macro (F2.2). The front camera is 50MP (F2.4).
Chip specifications are also not disclosed but it comes with a memory option of 12GB RAM and internal storage up to 512GB. Nova 14 is also equipped with a 5500mAh battery with 100W Huawei Wired SuperCharge charging.
Both Nova 14 are powered by HarmonyOS 5 with various AI-based features for video editing. It also supports beidou satellite messaging that allows communication without a landline. In addition, it also offers WiFi7+ for fast connectivity. Other additional AI features include Xiaoyi Intelligent Agent for task management, AI smart control keys for instant access, AI noise reduction for clearer calls, and so on.
