MSI Claw A8 Now Official With AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme Chip

Among the mobile consoles that were launched but then fell flat is the MSI Claw. The choice to use the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H chip was the first mistake because its performance was not as good as the AMD Ryzen Z2 used by other mobile consoles. At Computex 2025, the MSI Claw A8 was finally officially launched with the Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip.

The MSI Claw A8 BZ2EM also retains the 8″ LCD FHD 120Hz screen, equipped with 24GB DDR5 memory, 1TB M.2 SSD storage and an 80 Whr battery. The operating system is still Windows 11 Home. The I/O options are 2x USB4 Type-C, 1x 3.5 mm audio jack, 1x fingerprint scanner and 1x microSD card reader. The audio system consists of a pair of 2W speakers.

In other words, this is the original MSI Claw with a “changed engine” and can be said to be the version that should have been launched last year. The selling price has not yet been announced by MSI.
