Qualcomm has now shared its annual Snapdragon Summit event for 2025, which will be held from September 23 to 25. This shows that the event has been accelerated compared to the previous one which was held near the end of the year.
Usually, at the Snapdragon Summit event, Qualcomm will launch its latest processor chips. For this year, they are expected to launch the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 at the event.
The launch of flagship processor chips earlier is also expected to have an impact on the launch of devices from various manufacturers, earlier than others. With the launch of new flagship chips at the end of September, it is not impossible that we will see the launch of new flagship devices from various manufacturers around the same time – thus also competing with the launch of iPhones which often occurs around September.
