In addition to launching two Neo QLED 8K TV models with Vision AI today, Samsung also launched four flagship soundbar models that can be paired with them. The four models launched are the Samsung HW-Q990F, HW-Q930F, HW-Q800F, and HW-QS700F.
The Samsung HW-Q990F is the flagship model in this series as it supports 11.2.4 channels with Wireless Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony audio systems. The two satellite speakers on the rear have upward-firing audio drivers to provide a more immersive Atmos experience. Another feature is support for audio tuning using SpaceFit Sound Pro and Adaptive Sound.
The Samsung HW-Q930F supports 9.1.4 channels with Wireless Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony audio systems. It is simply the Q0990F without the two satellite speakers on the rear. The Samsung HW-Q800F supports 5.2.2 channels while the HW-QS700F supports 3.1.2 channels. Other specifications are the same as the two models above.
The biggest change in this year's soundbar series is the size of the subwoofer box which is 50% smaller. According to Samsung, this smaller size is in line with the needs of users who do not have a large space at home. Despite the smaller size, the bass performance is still equivalent to the previous model according to Samsung.
The selling price is as follows. Pre-orders have opened and it will only be sold starting June 2, 2025.
