Tabung Haji Advises Pilgrims to Use THhujjaj App Instead of ChatGPT to Consult the Principles of Hajj Practices

The Tabung Haji Board (TH) has asked pilgrims not to use artificial intelligence (AI) chat applications such as ChatGPT or Google as a guide to performing hajj and umrah practices. According to Holy Land Worship Guide (PIHTAS) Salmah Sheikh Hassan, ChatGPT, for example, can raise doubts and the validity of answers, thus damaging the worship being performed.

Instead, pilgrims are advised to use the e-taib feature in the THhujjaj application to ask any questions related to umrah and hajj as it has a live chat with more expert people.

The application is able to respond to any question as fast as one minute. It operates 18 hours a day and is staffed by four staff and three consultation experts. The operating period will be extended to 24 hours during this hajj season. For hajj and umrah pilgrims who wish to use this application, please go to the link below.
