WhatsApp is Testing a Feature to Create Groups Without Adding Members Immediately

WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to create groups without having to add members immediately. With this facility, users can form a group first and then choose who they want to include.

Previously, every time a user wanted to create a group, they had to add at least one member. If there were no members to add immediately, then users had to use a temporary method such as adding someone first and removing them later.

But now with the new feature, users just need to tap the button on the “Chats” tab, select “New Group” and continue the process without adding members or participants. If this feature is available in their beta version, a message at the top of the app will confirm that adding members is an option.

For now, this feature is only available to a select number of beta users and is expected to be expanded gradually. If you want to try it, you can check whether this feature is already available in your beta version of WhatsApp or not.
