A customer service company's database was recently hacked, and one of the company's users, popular sportswear brand Adidas, has confirmed that the personal details of a number of its customers were stolen in the incident.
Adidas has confirmed that the email details of a number of its customers were stolen from the company's customer service database. It also confirmed that customer payment details were not affected by the hack, including other details held by customer service.
Adidas also did not provide further details such as which customer service company was hacked, when the attack occurred, and how many customers were affected.
Adidas has also recently been hit by another cyber attack carried out on the company in Turkey and South Korea, where customer details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth and addresses were exposed to hackers.
Adidas said that it will inform its customers who were affected by this latest cyber attack, and advise them to change their user account passwords.
