AI Will Increase Unemployment Rate to 20% According to Anthrophic CEO

It's fun to pretend to be a Ghibli character and generate short videos as a joke. In this joyful and joyful movement, don't forget that AI will take over various jobs that were done by humans yesterday. Anthrophic CEO Dario Amode warned in an interview with Axios that AI will cause unemployment in the United States to increase by 10-20% in just 5 years compared to around 4% at this point.

Amode added that AI will take over 50% of the tasks of entry-level white-collar workers. These are the tasks they need to climb the career ladder before they can reach management level. Without these entry-level tasks, will management in the future be replaced by AI because there are no humans trained to do these tasks?

Among the threatened careers are jobs in the fields of finance, consulting, and technology. Two years ago AI was at the level of high school students but now it is at the level of university students and will now surpass it.

His opinion is not new or scary. Last year, the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) published a report saying that up to 1.8 million workers in Malaysia will be affected by AI, digital and green technologies. Retraining is one of the steps the government is taking to mitigate the impending impact, but if all these jobs are taken over by AI, what is the value of retraining?
