AMD Reportedly Will Discontinue Production of AMD B650 Motherboards Soon

If you're thinking of building a desktop computer, you might want to pick your components quickly, as there have been recent rumors that AMD has ordered the discontinuation of AMD B650 motherboards.

The AMD B650 series motherboards are mid-range motherboards that support AMD Ryzen 7000 and AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors, although there are now newer AMD X870 and AMD B850 motherboards that come with more modern features like support for USB 4 and PCIe Gen 5.

The rumors come via an industry digital forum that says that the order or request was issued by AMD recently, and it is expected that the stock supply for the motherboard will decrease sharply around the third quarter of this year.

It is also said that even though the manufacturing of the motherboard is now discontinued, it is expected that its sales will still continue for a few months before the existing stock runs out. It is also expected that when only X870 and B850 motherboards are on the market, it will help to reduce the price of the offering.
