Dattel Asia Group and KUSKOP Announce RM50 Million Fund for Revenue-Based Financing for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PMKS)

In an effort to accelerate the digital transformation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PMKS), Dattel Asia Group with the support of the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP) has launched a RM50 million fund for Revenue-Based Financing.

This fund aims to provide broader access to finance to entrepreneurs regardless of their background or business size. With this support, they can expand their operations, acquire strategic assets, and increase their competitiveness in the rapidly growing business ecosystem.

Revenue-Based Financing provides convenience to entrepreneurs, where repayments are made according to a percentage of the business's income. This method can help ease the financial burden especially for businesses with erratic or seasonal cash flow as payments are only made when income is earned.

The MyDataHub.ai platform plays a key role in this initiative by integrating real-time data from e-commerce, QR Pay digital payments, and the GID economic platform. This technology speeds up the financial assessment process, facilitates access to financing, and helps entrepreneurs make more accurate and efficient financial decisions. With this approach, entrepreneurs can understand their financial position more clearly and act based on the latest information.

Interested entrepreneurs can submit an application online with an approval period of three working days. Financing starts from RM3,000 with no maximum limit depending on sales performance. The partner also ensures that the financing offered does not exceed the applicant's ability to ensure their financial sustainability. The receipt of money is expected within a month, giving entrepreneurs flexibility in managing cash flow and growing their business.

This initiative not only provides an alternative to conventional financing, but also opens up more opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow in the digital economy. They also plan to introduce the Pay-As-You-Sale concept where business owners can know the actual amount used and make payments based on their sales results.

In addition, the digital dashboard provided allows owners to combine data from digital wallets such as Shopee with other e-commerce platforms. It can provide a comprehensive picture of sales in one place, allowing them to identify the best strategies and platforms for business growth.
