Garmin has introduced its latest smartwatch, the Quatix 8, in the Malaysian market. This smartwatch is offered in two size options, namely 47mm and 51mm. In addition, it is equipped with a bright 1.4-inch AMOLED screen, protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass and built using a durable titanium frame.
Not only that, this watch also passes military standards with resistance to heat and shock. It is also equipped with an automatic light sensor and an LED flashlight that supports red light mode for use at night. In addition, the leak-proof button design and the included sensor protector provide additional protection when in extreme conditions.
The watch is also equipped with a built-in speaker and microphone that allows users to answer phone calls and control the boat directly from the wrist. It is also waterproof up to a depth of 40 meters, making it an ideal choice for activities such as scuba diving and apnea.
In addition, the voice control function is available via Bluetooth connection when this watch is connected to a smartphone. A variety of marine applications are also provided including tide alarms, anchor drag warnings, and a timer for paddle boat races. The battery is provided and can last up to 16 days of use on a single full charge.
The Garmin Quatix 8 will be available in Malaysia in mid-July with prices starting at RM5720 for the 47mm model and RM6240 for the 51mm model.
