There were many devices launched by Xiaomi late last night and among those that may be a little forgotten is the Redmi K Pad. This compact tablet comes with an 8.8″ IPS LCD screen with 3K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 16:10 ratio and surpasses Dolby Vision standards.
The tablet is powered by the Dimennsity 9400+ chip, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage and a 7500 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and becomes a powerbank with 18W charging power.
The main camera consists of a 13 MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP front camera. There are a pair of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and interestingly this tablet is equipped with two USB-C ports. One at the bottom and the other on the side. With two USB-C ports, the tablet can be charged and at the same time the owner can connect wired headphones simultaneously.
The K Pad is marketed as a gaming tablet and therefore it is equipped with a 12,050mm² cooling chamber and is also offered with a physical game controller accessory. Finally, the operating system used is HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
Redmi K Pad is offered in Deep Black, Spruce Green, and Smoky Purple colors. The selling prices are as follows.
