Previously, we have seen several parties launch and re-land the launched rocket – thus leading to huge savings in the aerospace arena, especially involving launches. Not only leading rocket companies like SpaceX, now Honda through its research-focused subsidiary has also successfully launched and re-landed its own rocket.
According to Honda, the rocket was launched to an altitude of 300 meters, before it successfully landed again. This was also the first test conducted by Honda, and it ended successfully.
Honda said that it is currently still in the research and development stage, and does not have any commercial plans for the use of this rocket at this time. However, this success shows Honda's advantages in their technology and offerings, which are ready to be used in the production of several of their products and self-driving systems.
