A few weeks ago, we reported that Intel would begin developing a processor chip that comes specifically with Performance cores or performance only. Named “Bartlett Lake”, this processor chip is expected to benefit those who want to build a PC specifically for gaming purposes, and do not care about other things such as energy saving.
Recently, it seems that details about the processor chip have been leaked to the web arena through a presentation slide. This Bartlett Lake processor chip will be named Intel Core 5 Processor 120F.
In terms of specifications, this processor chip will come with six physical cores with 12 power threads at a base speed of 2.5GHz and Turbo Frequency up to 4.5GHz. It will support memory up to DDR5-4800 of 192GB. In terms of power consumption, this chip interestingly only has a TDP value as high as 65W.
Through the same slide, we can also see that this processor chip will focus on computer builds that are powerful enough to run leading e-sports games, and can be paired with Intel Arc Alchemist or Battlemage graphics cards for a gaming experience at 1080p resolution that won't burden your wallet and bank account.
However, at this time the price tag and launch date for this processor chip have not been announced yet, and so far there is still no indication as to when the chip will be introduced.
