Several countries in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam will start selling the latest Nintendo Switch 2 console, with Malaysia still waiting for its release date, as it still needs to go through SIRIM approval before it can be sold.
According to a report by Lowyat.Net, it seems that at least the console's controllers, namely the Nintendo Joy-Con 2 and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller 2, have recently passed the SIRIM approval process.
However, the Nintendo Switch 2 console itself, as well as the Nintendo Switch 2 webcam, have not yet been shown, but with the confirmation of these controllers, our expectation is that this console will still have time to be officially sold in the local market by the official Southeast Asian market date of June 26, 2025.
