LG Rent-Up Rebranded as LG Subscribe

Last year, LG, a leading South Korean electronics and appliance brand, introduced its rent-to-own service LG Rent-Up. The service allows users to “rent” a product until they have paid for it and either own it or return it.

LG Rent-Up has been rebranded as LG Subscribe, featuring the same rent-to-own contract offerings as before, which is reportedly to make it easier for customers to understand the service.

LG also appears to have increased the number of products it can “subscribe” to, which now includes water purifiers, air conditioners, televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, and the LG Styler hair dryer.

Similar to LG Rent-Up, customers can choose to subscribe for 5 or 7 years, and during these years, the “subscribed” products will come with regular servicing and free repairs.

Not only that, at the end of the LG Subscribe subscription contract, customers will also own the products they subscribed to in full.
