My50 Pass Can Be Renewed Using TNG eWallet Starting July 1

The My50 renewal feature using TNG eWallet was announced in November 2024 before it was later promised to be launched in May 2025 before being postponed for no reason. But today it was finally confirmed that it will be operational starting July 1 at a ceremony attended by Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

Starting July 1, the pass renewal process can be done directly through the TNG eWallet application without having to do it physically at the counter as before. The process to do so is as follows.

1. Select Travel Pass in the TNG eWallet application.

2. Touch the Touch ‘n Go card that supports NFC to link it to the application.

3. Press Travel Pass My50.

4. Select the My50 activation date.

5. Press agree to the terms & conditions and make payment.

6. Touch the Touch ‘n Go card to the phone’s NFC sensor again to activate.

My50 can be used for travel on LRT, MRT, BRT, Rapid KL buses and MRT feeder buses. Users can still physically renew their My50 passes at all Rapid Rail train stations.
